What’s Popular at Desty Online

Here are some reader suggested articles:

Listed below are the top five articles for both site visitors and for RSS subscribers for the last 30 days.  This is the first time I’ve done a traffic review of this sort.  I will do more in the future, as it tells me what readers are interested in.

Top 5 RSS Subscriber Articles

  1. Project: I, Blogger — Time to Do an Experiment
  2. Project: I, Blogger — Experiment Ends in Failure
  3. How to Increase Your Traffic from Google, Yahoo!, and MSN
  4. Who Do You Trust?
  5. Project: I, Blogger — I Have Questions…

I feel SO much better about the response to the Project: I, Blogger Series now.  Just looking at page views, there hadn’t been much interest, but the RSS subscribers were eating it up!  Thank you!!

What’s interesting is that while I try not to focus on pure blogging posts, it’s the articles about blogging that are getting the most reads from the RSS subscribers.  Maybe that’s a hint…

Top 5 Page View Articles

  1. Make Ends Meet, and Then Some
  2. Wall Street Takes a Dive — Let’s Dance!
  3. Project: I, Blogger
  4. Desty’s Gold Starred Articles July 9 2007
  5. AdBrite Ad Zones Removed From Desty Online

I’m not surprised by the top two articles.  I submit them both to Blog Carnivals and they get decent traffic.  The first Project: I, Blogger article I promoted pretty heavy and also got some press from other bloggers.  The July 9th article review hit on several great articles, even more so than normal; must have been a good week for posts by other bloggers.  Finally, I get alot of Google directed traffic to my article about not using AdBrite ads.

Is there an article that you enjoyed that isn’t on this list?  Let me know what and why.
