From a promotional standpoint, if you can buy some post level text links from some of the high profile bloggers such as John Chow, Problogger, or Shoemoney, it could really give alot of bang for your buck. The way I figure it, normal text link ads send out some PR loving while post level links could get you some nice traffic.

Nice articles you profiled here. I like reading about the topic of selling direct advertising. It seems like a rapidly growing trend on the web and something that we can all learn more about through the experiences of others.
My personal experience with direct selling of advertising has been one of excitement and 2nd guessing myself. I was thrilled by the offer. What concerned me was my thoughts on pricing. I didn’t want to drive the advertiser away by pricing myself too high, but I really didn’t want to leave money on the table. We’ll see how things go from here. If only Google’s public PR would update…
