Blogging, for the most part, is an endurance feat. You won’t be successful overnight, in a week, or, most likely, even in a month. Creating content and building up a readership base isn’t an easy task; also, its not something you do once. After you create the masterpiece in blog postings, which brings in the readers, congratulations, now do it again tomorrow. And tomorrow. And tomorrow. Keep doing it as long as you want to keep that readership base and be successful. Readers will be understanding if you don’t post every day, but posting every week to two weeks or so, along with turning out crap posts, will drive your readers away.

Serious blogging should be treated as a business. Its your job to attract customers (readers), give them a quality product / service (your posts), and give excellent customer service (listening to your readers). By giving a quality product and excellent customer service, you’ll create a loyal and faithful customer who will continue to use your product. I’m talking about creating a brand. Everyone has their favorite soft drink, their favorite car company, their favorite pizza. If you create a blog that people love and check their feed several times per day so not to miss a post, not only do you have a loyal reader, but more than likely they’ll sing your praises on their own blog or to their friends.

For those serious about making money online, there are several different strategies and tactics involved to make your blog a success. Yaro Starak has written a free report on what you need to do in order to make your blog successful in ways of strategy, ideas, traffic, and the motivation to make it as a blogger.
